April 2009, my family and I visited the hidden jewel of Puebla, Mexico. We made arrangements with Carlos Rivero Tours in advance. Once we arrived to Puebla our 4 day adventure began. Carlos introduced us to the rich culture of Mexico's history. The colorful tiled buildings, and museums were breath taking. We traveled to differed states and visited the mystical ruins of the ancient Aztecs. Carlos is very family oriented, punctual and will cater to your needs. Mar 2009. We were so thrilled to find Carlos Rivero Tours in the "Frommer's Mexico 2009" Tour book when we were planning our vacation to Puebla, Mexico in February 2009. My wife, son and I were so excited taking the three tours with Carlos. His passion and wealth of information he shared with us about the land that he loves, showed from one tour to the other. To the downtown of Puebla, the churches and the pyramids, we really were pleased about how personal he is and his knowledge of the history of Mexico.

Feb 2009. To anyone thinking of taking a trip to Central Mexico, take advantage of a Premier tour guide Carlos Rivero. My wife, brother and sister-in-law and I have used Carlos's expertise 3 times, with outstanding experiences. Carlos is fluent in English, as well as his native language. He is most accommodating in taking you places you want to go and gets you there with no hassles. The prices are always very reasonable and accommodations excellent. Carlos and his lovely family are extremely gracious and most hospitable. When we go back to Central Mexico we will look forward to seeing Carlos and using his services again. Jun 2007. We enjoyed very much our time in Puebla. Me gusta Cuernavaca, pero me encanta Puebla. Frankly,I found the people in Puebla as in my home state, but even more so---very friendly, helpful, and very outgoing...We have been to Ireland and Israel (and Ellen to Ukraine), but none of our trips, I think, had the impact on us of visiting our bueno vecino, Mexico. I think my country has lost its way in many ways, and perhaps could relearn some important things from Mexico, most especially having zocalos (and the more intimate human interaction it helps foster), and using fresh ingredients to make tastier and healthier food.
