Sun PyramidThe Pyramid of the Sun is the biggest prehispanic pyramid on site and the symbol of the city. And it's second biggest pyramid in Mexico so far. According to some conservative studies this structure took around 200 years to be finished by the pyramid builders.

The Pyramid of the Sun is located to an specific position inside the city planning in order to follow the sun movement across the sky and to meet the sun light at noon in an specific angle  twice a year.

Street of the DeadThe Street of the Dead is the city street axis where all important city pyramids, housing, administrative ceremonial assemblies get together and lead you to explore any corner of this amazing place.

By passing by this way you can image how was the first impression all the antique visitors to the city by walking throughout the whole street and watching on each side of the street the luxury and decoration of every building sorrounding the street. A city built perfectly in stone and stucco and decorated with amazing murals on the walls.

  

   Quetzalcoatl Temple Minimize

Quetzalcoatl TempleThe Quetzalcoatl Temple is the most beautiful pyramid because it has carved stone heads which decorate the whole building. The stone heads represents prehispanic mexican gods Quetzalcoatl (plummed serpent) and Tlaloc (god of rain).

At the end of the golden period of Teotihuacan the residence of the city goverment was moved around the courtyard where the temple is located. The antique foreign embassies and trading market where located next to this area as well.

   Pyramid of Moon Minimize

The Pyramid of the Moon is located at the northern part of the city right at the extreme part of the Street of the Dead where a group of smaller pyramids and a large plaza get together. Recently, this pyramid was explored by a international group of archeologists and discovered new evidences and treasures than provide a better perspective of the power and influence of this city in all mexican cultural area named Mesoamerica. Also this pyramid represents one of most known examples of prehispanic mexican architecture.
