Those who have heard about the famous culinary tradition of Puebla, where famous mexican dishes had ever made or elaborated by nouns at the convents on the previous centuries and nowadays continue making by a local cook, look for an opportunity to learn cooking them at reasonable price and with someone who has the know/how to cook.
The excellence of the cook's cooking is based on the years preparing the traditional years at home and led by the same students by questioning the cook about recipes or ingredients. In fluent English the lessons are taught on the scheduled days by students. Lessons are restricted to groups of 2 to 6 people and scheduled for one, three or five day program.
Where do the leassons start up? The first lesson is a visit to the local market where students learn to collect the premiere ingredients for their dishes. Even a visit to a local market is quite an experience for itself. The teaching is more than an exercise because students will try as a midday meal what they have cooked in class.
Here are some of the dishes available: Mole Poblano, Pipian Verde, Chalupas, Salsa Verde, Salsa Roja and Guacamole. Special request implies 72 hour notice.
