Three different walking food tours are offered in Puebla. All of them are customized to be taken during half-day visit to the city. Each walking tour combines an easy downtown loop with tastes of a half-dozen of Pueblan culinary dishes or street foods with explanation of some related city highlights. For special mobility requirements, an special private car service might be arranged with an extra fee.

Puebla's Taste Tour

Start: Puebla Zocalo park

By trotting around town we will taste several of the Puebla well-known street food such as cemitas, chalupas, pelonas, molotes, tacos arabes and a traditional sweet or liqueur. Tour price includes taste of a half-dozen of Puebla snacks, non-alcoholic drink or bottle of water.

Mole Poblano dish
Monday to Saturday, 11am to 3pm

Mole Poblano Tour

Start: Puebla Zocalo park

We will visit a town market to see the different moles offered to public and get to know how Mole Poblano is prepared. Because the flavor of Mole is achieved better if it's cooked in a traditional clay cazuela (pot) then a visit to Puebla potter workshop is included. Later a Mole Poblano lunch is provided with a refreshing drink. When site schedule allows, a visit to the kitchen where according to tradition Mole was invented.

Tour price includes Mole explanation and lunch with non-alcoholic drink or bottle of water, potter workshop visit and town market visit.

Chiles en Nogada dish

Chiles en Nogada Tour

Start: Puebla Zocalo park

It is seasonal tour that is widely available from July to September when its ingredients are at their peak. We will be visiting visit the place where Chiles en Nogada dish were invented by Augustinian Recollect nuns. Later we will visit a town market and will have a cooking demostration and taste of Chiles en Nogada in a traditional restaurant of Puebla. Taste includes a glass of wine or refreshing no-alcoholic beverage.

Tour price includes Chiles en Nogada demostration and lunch with non-alcoholic drink or bottle of water and town market visit.
